NO IMPROVEMENT SHOWN. . WORK OF THE GOVERNMENT. REFERENCE BY HON. J. G. COATES [by telecilaph.—own cokeespohdknt.] WELLINGTON. Friday. Tho following official bulletin in connection with Mr. Massey's illness was issued at noon to-day:— r " There is no improvement this niorn--1 ing in the Prime Minister's condition." Speaking at the Hutt railway deviation r ceremony yesterday, the Hon. J. G, u Coates, Minister for Railways and Public ; Works, on behalf of the Government, b thanked those present very sincerely for r sympathetic references in regard to Mr. Massey's illness. It would be the duty - of himself and his colleagues, he said, to i carry those words to Mrs. Massey. They, , along with the general public, felt the s present situation very much, he could • assure them, but iljoy knew that Mr. Massey's wish was that the motto of the i Government should he ''business as usual," t that they should go on with the country's i work and allow nothing to stand in tho . way of tho progress of the Dominion.
