CHINESE MOTOR SERVICES.
There appears something of a boom in starting public vehicle services in China. From I'fikin comes news of the formation of a number of new undertakings. One is reported as about to start a service on the load lately completed between I'higyao and Hwaoghu, in the province of Hangchow; another has lately started a service in Shantung, while yet another is being formed in Hankow to work a service between that city and Shayang. A Kiangsu capitalist plans to construct a motor road in the Nanking district of the Kiangsu province, and to run services from Hinkiang to Mantangshati, a distance of about 60 miles. Finally, a number of capitalists in Hupeh province arc organising a company to construct a 40-mile motor road between Shasi and Hojung, and to run a 'bus service between the two places. i A
