CONSTABLE MURDERED.
BLACK TRACKER'S CRIME. PORT DARWIN TRAGEDY. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 1.5 a.m.) SYDNEY, Apl. 15. A report from Port Darwin states that Constable Bridgeman has been murdered by a black tracker at Caledon Bay. Tho constable had been engaged in keeping the natives in order. Ho had also been completing tho search for tho two women who arc supposed to have survived the wreck of the Douglas Mawson, and to have been captured by tho blacks.
