MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. GROUNDS FOR SATURDAY. The Management Committee of tho Auckland Rugby Union mot last evening, Mr. H. Frost presiding. ~ The Eden Club write asking for a ruling whether ari unfinancial member could be transferred to another club without tirst paying tbe overdue subscription, .tho committee's decision was that if last season d subscription had been paid, the union would Honction tho transfer and would not prevent it under tho discussed circumstances. . A request from tho Auckland Primary Schooh Association for a donation of footballs for the ensuing season was granted. The Thames Union wrote asking for permission to hold a soven-a-sido tournament on April 18. This was granted. « A letter was received from Mr. I. Courtney resigning his position on tho - Management owing to his having been transferred to Nelson. The resignation waa accepted with regret, the committee placing on record its appreciation for Mr. Courtney's services to the game. Tho New Zealand Universities saDinitted June 3 as a date for a match between Auckland and Sydnoy Universities. This day waa accepted. The Now s South Wales Rugoy Union wrote enclosing a copy of its successful balancesheet of last yew and wishing the Auckland Union overy success for tho coming season. Tho gate charges for Edon Park were fixed at one shilling all round, for ground and stand.

It was resolved that the Union should exfond ita sympathy with the hon. solicitor, Mr. .T, L. Conlan, in his illness and with Mr. P. Ryan, an AH Black, of 1884, in his illness, with best wishes to both for an early recovery.

A recommendation wan made to the Match Committee that representative matches should be arranged at the end of the first and second rounds of club frames. Following are the grounds allocated for Saturday: University, Show Grounds, No. 1, 2-3.30 p.m..: Gramma.- Old Boys, Show Grounds, No. 1. 3.30-5 p.m.: Newton. Show Grounds, ho. 2, 2-3 p.m.; College Rities, Show Grounds. No. 2, 3-5 P.m.: Gordon. Show Grounds, No. 3, 2-3 p.m.; Kingsland. Show Grounds. No. 3, 3-4 p.m.; Marathon, Fhow Grounds. No. 3, 4 5 p.tn.; Eden. Eden P-irk No. 1, 2-3 p.m.; Gjafton, Eden Park. No l' 3-5 p.m.
