DESERT TRAGEDY.
PROSPECTOR'S LONELY END.

After six days' tracking over 152 miles of heavy country, the body of Franz Carl Capticna, aged 61, a prospector, who had perished whilo searcliing for his horse, was recently found by the police about 60 miles from Laverton, Western Australia.
The tracks showed that Captiena had lost himself, and had walked about without sense of direction until lie died of exposure, thirst and starvation.
