TRUCKLOAN OF SNAKES.
RAILWAYS REFUSE TRANSIT. The Easter Fair committee at Bendigo, Victoria, was recently advised that a snake exhibitor was going to the fair from New South Wales with 200 snakes. Because of the dangerous nature of his cargo, the railway authorities would not carry it by rail, so he chartered a motor truck and travelled by road.
