LATE MR. S. W. LUXFORD.
BOROUGH COUNCIL TRIBUTE.
A tribute to the services rendered to the Borough of Devonport by the late Mr. S. W. Luxford was paid by, the Mayor and councillors at the meeting of the Borough Council last evening. In moving a resolution of sympathy with Mrs. Luxford and family the Mayor, Mr. T. Lament, referred to Mr. Luxford's work as a councillor for eight years, for the last five of which he was Deputy-Mayor.
