PRIZE BIRDS BURNED.
RAPID SPREAD OF FIRE. No fewer than 360 prize chickens were recently burned to death on a big Worcestershire poultry farm at Hallow. The birds were in one model house of six compartments, with creosoted sides and tarred felt tops, which fell a ready prey to the flames,, the place being consumed almost in a Hash.
