The Fapakura Tovni Board met on Mon« dav evening. v \ Mr. Weir reported |fchat he, in company with two members of tide Franklin Count V| Council, inspected the country -in th§! vicinity of Hay's Creek, with the object, 1 of finding a solution to the flooding ofl the surrounding area. As the trouble did not arise in the board's own area, ther®' was no need for it to take further action. It was decided to carry out certain i works at Prince Edward Park in order' that the Easter sports meeting may be held there.
