ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL. ENGLISH TEAM FOR AUSTRALIA. (Received 5.5 p.m.) A. and N.Z.—Sun. LONDON, Mar. 9. The English Association football team which is to tour Australia will include Hardin, Spencer, Graham, Caesar, Turnbull, Sevrnour, Davison, Storer, Likes and Quantrill. Critics express the opinion that the team is in no way representative of English football. Its selection, they say, is not a compliment to Australia. The Daily Chronicle says the team is not equal to ;v present-day third League team, especially in view of the strange conditions, the hard grounds, and the fiery ball likely to be encountered. Any Australian team of resolute and fit men should defeat it. llardio, Spencer and Seymour are the only English internationals. Davison is a former Scottish international. These alone can be described as first-class players. Caesar has played for rtn English amateur side.
