THAMES HALF-HOLIDAY.
A MIXED POSITION. [BV TE LEG It a r 11. - OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] THAMES. Tuesday. The change of the weekly half-holiday from Saturday to Thursday, which was decided on by the Borough Council and gazetted last month, is so far inoperative, as quite a number of the larger business people have decided to continue the Satur day half-holiday, and have applied for permits to do so. The position is somewhat mixed, some keeping Thursday and others Saturday.
