BRITISH LABOUR PARTY.
KIRKWOOD'S INDISCRETION. CENSURE MOTION MAY LAPSE. v_ Time". LONDON. Mar. 3. The political correspondent of the Times says there is a possibility that a censure motion which tho Labour Party proposed to move in the House of Commons in connection with the suspension of Mr. I>. Kirkwood, Labour member for Dumbarton, may be withdrawn. Members of all parlies feel that public discussion of the matter should bo avoided. It is realised that it would do little good and might, only increase tho irritation which has already been aroused. Probably, therefore, before the Jlour.e meets again informal conversations may have eased the situation.
