MOTOR-CARS COLLIDE.

MEET ON A HILL CREST, ACCIDENT NEAR HAMILTON. [by telegraph.—own correspondent.] HAMILTON, Sunday. A collision between two motor-cars occurred at. the corner of Hillcrest Road, on tho main _ Cambridge-Hamilton Road, at about six o'clock last evening, resulting in one of the drivors, Mr. Harding, of Matamata, sustaining cuts to the face necessitating medical attention. A car was being driven by Mr. W. F. Rellings, of Hamilton, from the direction of Cambridge, while it is understood that the other car was being driven from Auckland to Matamata. At the scene of the collision there is a slight bend in the road, tho vision of drivers being further obstructed by a high hedge and tho fact that the road slopes steeply on either side of the crest. Neither driver saw tho othor in time to avert the smash and the cars met almost head on. Both cars were considerably damaged, each sustaining a broken front wheel and axle. After receiving medical attention in Hamilton Mr. Harding was able to proceed on his way.

IMPACT WITH LORRY. MINOR DAMAGE SUSTAINED. [by telegraph.—own correspondent.] _ HAMILTON. Saturday. A head-on collision, fortunately not resulting in serious damage, occurred today between a car driven by Mrs. Thomas Piatt, of Matangi, and a motor-lorry driven by Mr. Erucst Lentfer. Mrs. Piatt was proceeding from Bridge Street West and Mr. Lentfer from the bridge toward Victoria Street. Both drivers mado prompt applications of their brakes, avoiding a heavy impact, but minor damage was sustained by the mudguards and radiators,,
