GOOD AVERAGE PRICES.

TE KUITI. Saturday. The entry at the Te Haiti Rani Fair Yesterday wa-s limited to 1100 rams, and the full complement came forward. During the early part of the sale all classes sold readily at prices in vendors' favour, but toward the end of the day, although some first-class sheep remained to be offered, the attendance dwindled away and many lots were passed in. Some very fine Romneys were forwarded from the South and heavy competition ruled for these. The Southdowns penned were not of the best quality, but sold well. There was a limited demand for Lincolns, the earlier pens selling freely, but toward the close of the sale they were not wanted, ters were also dull of sale. The best averages were on account or Mr. J. Rlair, Wangaimi, 17 Romneys at llgns.; Mr. D. G. Forlong, Bunnythorpe, two pens of 21 rams, 9 3-4gns. Best flock Romileys (no studs) made from 11 to 14gn(j., good flock Romneys from 9 to lOAgns., medium, 7£ to Signs. Sonthuowns made from 7Jjr to 10|gnsj and eolns from to 6gns.
