FURTHER FALL YESTERDAY. . RISING BAROMETER. The weather was fine on Saturday, but rain fell steadily from early yesterday morning until mid-day and added nearly half an inch to the rainfall, which is now ,42in. above the average for February. The rainfall for the month up to midnight last night Was 3.33 in. The wet weather yesterday morning was'followed by bright sunshine in the afternoon and fine clear weather last night. 'Hie barometer was very low and unsteady during the week-end. At an early hour yesterday the glass fell to 29.55 in. It rose steadily all day and at a late hour the reading was 29.88 in.
