LOS ANGELES EPISODE. FILM EXHIBIT IGNITES. (Received 7.5 p.m.) R euler . NEW YORK. Feb. 10. ' A panic occurred in Court at Los j Angeles to-day. The public, lawyers, i and officials rushed for the floors when i a film exhibit produced in a suit brought by the comedian, Charles Chap- , Jin, against Charles Amador, caught fi fire. The camera man beat out the flames j before the fire could spread. The film was being .screened in Court | m order to prove that Amador and other j film actors had been wearing the baggy j trousers, antiquated Derby hat and j elongated shoes, made familiar by Chaplin, the use of which by Amador he j seeks to stop.
