BORING AT MOTUROA. START MADE ON WEDNESDAY. [ll ST TEtEORAr-H.-PR.ESS ASSOCIATION.] NEW PLYMOUTH. Friday. Taranaki Oilfields, Ltd., commenced drilling at Moturoa on Wednesday. The Tarata bore is already down to 300 ft., and has encountered gas. Operations are temporarily suspended for adjustment; and alteration of the machinery.
