In replying to a number of questions in the House of Commons to-day, the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr. Winston Churchill, said the Government fully, agreed with the declared intention of previous Administrations to revert to tha gold standard at the earliest "possible date. „ " ,: Asked whether he would consider dis« cussing this subject with the Dominions, Mr. Churchill replied that ha could not make a more definite statement at present. ; , ' . .
