POISON FOR BEER.
DRSNK OF FURNITURE STAIN. A man who drank furniture stain in mistake for beer was the subject of an inquest at Shored itch recently. Charles Ernest Class, a IToxtoa cabinetmaker, got his wife to bring him a pint of beer—also a solution of bichromate of potash and other materials for making a furniture stain. After mixing the stain he fell asleep. On awakening ho drank the solution and died a few hours later. A verdict of accidental death was recorded.
