WAIHI. fBY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.) WAIHI. Thursday. Tho following information "lias been ■cabled to the head office in London of the Waihi Goldmining Company;— No. 11 level, Edward lode: Driving south the next, 25ft., from 861 ft. to 886 ft., assays 28s 3d per ton. The reef is wider than the drive. No. 13 level, Edward lode: Driving south the next 22ft.. from 123 ft. to 145 ft., assays 20s 6d per ton. No. 14 level, north section of the Martha lode; West of No. 4 shaft in the crosscut to the south the last 12ft. assays 2s 3d per ton. The crosscut has holed through to the drive on the south section of the lode. South section of Martha lode; West of No. 4 shaft the next 37ft. of driving assays 3s 9d per ton. In the crosscut to the south the last sft. assays 4s 6d per ton. No. 15 level: The north crosscut is now in 169 ft. 41 140 ft. we have intersected a reef sft. wide, the assay value of which is Is 6d per ton. MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS. Kuranui.—The contractors have gone 23ft. past the reef, leaving a further Bft, to drive to completo their contract, which will be accomplished in a few days. I think a further distance of 30ft., or 40ft. would be a good 'hing to drive in the crosscut, as I believe another reef is not far away. No work has been done on the reef since intersecting it, and it is now ready for development.
