The preparation I use is camphor, grs. one, acid carbolic, grs. two; menthol, grs, four; alboleno (liquid vaseline), one ounce. The camphor and the carbolic may be left out, or eucalvptol may be substituted for either or tooth. The menthol and albolene are essential, the first for its action on the lining membrane, the second to collect the impurities in the air.
