WIFE DESERTION CHARGE. EXTRADITION OPPOSED. " This is an application for extradition but we claim it is not bona fid a, and we are in communication with New South Wales on the mailer," stated Mr. A. Samuel at Takapuna on July 25, 1923, by falsely representing that he was about to publish booklets entitled Seaside Resorts of Auckland and Dairy Farming in New Zealand, in which ho would insert advertisements, Donald Forrest, alias James Cameron, aged 39, was remanded until next Thursday. Chief-Detective Cummings stated othor charges were pending. Accused was allowed bail of £IOO and ordered to report daily to the police. Charged with breaking and entering the dwelling of Ella Baker on the night of February 6 with intent to commit a crime, John Edward Ramsey, aged 41 (Mr. Sullivan), was further remanded until next Thursday. Bail of £IOO was allowed, accused to report daily to tho police.
