FRENCH MEAT PRICES.
REASONS FOR DECLINE. A. and N.Z. PARIS. Feb. 10. Le Matin states that during the past month meat prices have declined in France. Traders predict a continued decline owing to the reorganisation of home stock and a considerably increased consumption of chilled meat. It is thought at Havre that the regular arrivals of large consignments from the Argentine will cause a still greater decline in prices.
