CLEAR BRIGHT EYES.
If you wish to possess clear, bright, sparkling eyes, nt-er omit to give them their daily bath. For this ycu may use bora cic lotion or, if you prefer it, plain water, to which a pinch of common salt has been added. Iu either case let your "bath" be lukewarm, and use an eye-bath. To make boracic lotion get an 3oz. botle and see that it is perfectly clean. Put into it a teaspoonful of boracic acid powder and half fill with warm water. Shake till the powder has dissolved, then fill up the bottle with distilled rosewater. When required fill the eye-bath three parts full and add sufficient hot water lo make the lotion slightly lukewarm. Then fit the eye-cup to the eye, throw the head back and open and shut the eye six or seven times. Throw away tho lotion, rince out the eye-bath, and fill with fresh lotion for the other eye. Then screw a little piece of cotton wool into a point, dip it into a little of the lotion, and work it around the corners of the eyes and the extreme edge of the lids along the eyelashes. Dry by patting with a soft cloth.
