CATHOLIC REFUGEES.
EVICTIONS AT BELFAST. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 7 p.m.) LONDON. Feb. 8. Two hundred Catholic refugees, who were driven from their homes in Belfast during the anti-Catholic reign of terror three years ago, took possession of a block of houses in May Street, where they have since lived under disgraceful conditions, though paying exorbitant ■ rents. Eight families comprising 50 persons have now been evicted Sixty armed police attended to assist tli© bailiff to carry out the evictions.
