SEAMEN'S UNION DISPUTE.

The Union Steam Ship Company endeavoured to get the Moeraki away by adding six non-unionists to her complement. They were sent to the ship's side in a launch under a police escort, but when the crew aboard learned "that the men were non-unionists they refused to prepare the vessel for sea.
