Tho Gisborne Sheepfarmers' steamer Tiroa, arrived from Gisborne Teeterday afternoon and berthed at the King's Wharf. The Arahura ia timed to Sail at 5 p.m. to-day for Tokomaru Bay, Gisborno and Napier. She is berthed at, the Queen's Wharj. The Navua, _ which is loading at the Prince's Wharf, is to be despatched at 3 p.m. to-day for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. THE CANADIAN CHALLENGER. The. Canadian Government eteamer Canadian Challenger, which sailed from Halifax on January 26, is bringing cargo for discharge at Auckland, Napier. Wellington; Lyitelton, Timaru, Bluff and Dtmedin. She is due at this port about March. 5. The Challenger 13 inaugurating the direct service, and she will not proceed to Australia. After discharge the vessel will load in New Zealand for New York, Boston and Halifax. STEAMER SILKSWORTH COMING. Messrs. Neill, Cropper and Company, local agents for the steamer Silkaworth, have received advice !hat the vessel is due at Auckland about February 27.- Tho Silksworth is bringing manures and general cargo from Antwerp and Rotterdam, also tanning bark and maize from Durban. The vessel cleared Rotterdam on December 19. and she will call at Newcastle before coming to this port. Her cargo is for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Napier and Lyttelton. THE MOTOR-SHIP HAURAKT. Hie Union Company's motor-ship Hanraki, on route from Wellington, called at llarotonga on Wednesday and sailed the same day for Papeete, Fanning Island and San Francisco. The vessel is due at San rrancieco about February 21. and she is scheduled to load at Vancouver and San Francisco early nert month for Auckland. Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney. TAIROA ARRIVED. An arrival in port last evening was. the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Tairoa with a full cargo of general merchandise from Glasgow and Liverpool. The vessel berthed at the Queen's Wharf to discharge about 3000 tons for this port. A departure was taken from. Liverpool on December 31 in the teeth of a south-west gale. The storm lasted a week, and during that time the Tairoa pitched and dived into the heavy head seas, which repeatedly broke on board forward, and flooded the decks. The first three days wore the worst, and it times the Tairoa was making less than si?: knots. Seas crashing over the bow smashed a heavy ventilator, and tore some, of the forecastle head rails. adrift. Nearing the Azores the conditions improved, and fair weather was experienced to Colon, which was reached on January 17. Next day the Tairoa passed through the canal. and cleared Balboa, Fine weather prevailed in tho Pacific until Pitcairn Island was passed. Then a succession of easterly gales, with high, following seas, and torrential rain were encountered. The Wind, however, was in the vessel's favour, and her progress was not delayed to any extent Two days before reaching Auckland the wind cnanged to the south, and the conditions were normal to port.. From Auckland the Tttiroa, goes to Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin to complete discharge. Captain W. G. KENT CLEARED PANAMA. The Federal Line steamer Kent, on route from London to Suva, Auckland, Napier, Port Chalmers and New Plymouth, cleared Panama on .Tannery 28 in continuation of her voyage. She is due at this port about February 25. HERTFORD AT LONDON. The Federal Lino steamer Hertford arrived at Ixmdon from Lyttelton on Friday. The vessel was despatched from Lyttelton on December 31, via Panama. CUMBERLAND REPORTED. The Federal Line eteamer Cumberland, which left Wellington for London on January 10. arrived at Curacao on February ;>, and resumed her voyage the same day. TURAKINA LEAVES LONDON. The New Zealand Shipping Company has received advice that ttie Timikma was despatched from London on February 5 for Auckland, Napier, and Port Chalmers. The vessel is due at this port about March 21. THE PORT DENISON. The Commonwealth apd Dominion Lino steamer Port Deniaon sailed last evening for Lyttelton to complete discharge of her cargo from ,London. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Waimato. which loaded a part cargo at Auckland, and completed in the South, was despatched from Wellington on Saturday morning for Hamburg and West of England ports. THE DORSET. To complete loading for New York, Boston, and West of England ports, the Federal Line steamer Dorset is to leave Wellington to-day for Lyttelton, Gisborno and Auckland. She sails finally from this port on FeDruary 25. WAIOTAPU LEAVES SAN FRANCISCO. With cargo from Pacific Coast ports, the Union Company's trans-Pacific steamer Waiotapu sailed from San Francisco on Friday for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne arm Sydney. The Commonwealth and Dominion* Line steamer Port Hunter, which loaded a part careo at Auckland, and was despatched from Wellington for London on January 17, passed Montevideo on Friday. AUCKLAND WAIMANA'S FINAL PORT. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Line steamer Waimaua is to leave Port Chalmers tomorrow for Lyttelton to continue loading. She afterwards proceeds to Gisborne, Wellington, Nelson and Auckland, to complete. The Waimana is scheduled to sail finally from this port on March -1 for London, via Montevideo and Tenerifie. MAEENO DUE AT 7 P.M. TO-DAY. A wireless .message from the Union Company's? intercolonial steamer Maheno states that she will arrive from Sydney at 7 p.m. to-day. THE WAIRUNA, The Union Company's trans-Pacific steamer Wairuna, now discharging cargo from Pacific Coast ports at the Queen's Wliarf, is to sail on Thursday for Wellington, Melbourne, and Sydney; 1 in continuation of her voyage. The vessel is due back at this port on. February 23. VESSELS FOR .NEWCASTLE. The steamers Radnor and Trewyn have nearly completed discharge of their cargoes of phosphates. The Ralnor will complete today and sail for Newcastle, and the Trewyn is to be desjatched to-morrow for the same port. After discharging a cargo of coal at the King's Wharf, the Waihora is to sail tomorrow evening for Newcastle. CANADIAN CONSTRUCTOR LOADING, The Canadian Government steamer Canadian Constructor arrived at Wellington from Adelaide on Friday to commence loading for New _ York, Boston and Halifax.
