INQUESTS OPENED.
TWO WEEK-END FATALITIES. Inquests regarding tho deaths during tho week-end of Mrs. Catherine Patterson, aged 74, and tho boxer, Mr. Iluia Stehr, aged 23, were opened yesterday before tho coroner, Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M., for identification purposes, and were adjourned sino die. Mrs. Patterson died on Sunday as the result of injuries inflicted by a sow which attacked her at her homo at Hunua on Saturday. Mr. Stehr collapsed and died following a short sparring contest at a Par noil gymnasium on Sunday morning.
