STRANDED IN MELBOURNE.
PLIGHT OF 200 GREEKS. A. nnd N.Z. MELBOURNE. Jan. 23. Two hundred Greeks, who landed in Melbourne a few weeks ago without capital, are now practically on the verge of starvation, and unable to obtain employment. The Greek Consul wrote to the Lord Mayor directing his attention to the plight of these men, and asked for his assistance. The letter stated that the men had paid their own fares to Melbourne.
