The Canadian Government steamer Canadian Explorer is due at Auckland about Febrnaxy 12 from Halifax. The vessel » t ringing cargo for discharge at Auckland, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. She will be the bat of the fleet that will go to Australia from New Zealand. The other steamers will discharge and load in Ifew Zealand, THE LING NAM, The local office of the Euddart-Parker Company has received_ advice _ that the Chinese-owned steamer Ling:Nam is to leave Sydney on Friday for Auckland, Papeete, Balboa, Callao, and Iquique. The vessel is -'ue at this port on Tuesday, and she is to resume her voyage the same day. TUTANEKAI DUE ABOUT MONDAY. The Government steamer Tutanekai left Wellington osi Monday morning for East Coast lighthouses and Auckland. Captain Boilons advises that he expects to reach this port about Monday, Afterwards the buoys, bearcens, and lighthouses m the Hauraki Gulf will be attended to before the vessel proceeds finally from Auckland to visit the .Northern and West Coast lighthouse. WA3NUI TO REPLACE ARAHUEA. Owing to the decrease of the number of passengers travelling between Auckland, Gisfcorae and Napier by steamer the union Company has decided to take the Ar&hura off the run and replace her with the Wainui. The company advises that trie Wain in will leave Wellington on February 5 for Isapier where, she will take up her running in the service the following day from that port and will leave Gisborne on Saturday, rebruary 7 for Auckland. On February 10 the_Wainui is scheduled to leave Auckland for Gisborne and Napier and she will continue to do so aa time-tabled. The Arahura will reach Napier from Auckland on . The Union Company's new motor liner Aorangi is due at' Vancouver to-day from Southampton, vis, Kingston, Panama and San Francisco.
