WAIKATO ASSOCIATION. ANNIVERSARY DAY MATCHES. [HI' TKJLEGIIAPU- —OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] HAMILTON, Wednesday. A meeting of the Waikatb Cricket Association was held on Monday evening, Mr. \V Eraser presiding. The use of Seddon Park was granted to the Hamilton Cycling Club on March 21, subject to certain conditions. In view of the large amount required by the New Zealand Cricket Council _ for « match with the M.C.C., it was decided to withdraw the Hamilton application. A letter was received from the North Shore Club confirming arrangements for a visit to-morrow. A team from To Kuiti will also play on Seddon Park. The following team will play against North Shore:—E. W, Hughes, L. G. Hemus, L. Morgan, W. Menzies. K. Carter, C. Smallwood, M. Gilmore, E. G. Carter, H. Going, F. Lenihan, Emergencies: M. Barnett, S. Senior. The team to play Te Kuiti will be: J. Tuck, Eggleaton. Spurdle, Pomeroy, Here pool, Allen. Atchison, Beechey, Caimpbell. Biarnett, Christian. The draw for junior matches on Saturday was altered as follows:—Railway v. Y.M.C.A.. Seddon Park: Hamilton East v. High School. Steele Park; Frank ton v. N.Z.D.C., Seddon Park. A MATCH CANCELLED. The second grade Suburban Association match, Bllorslie v. Y.M.C.A. B, which "wra.3 to be played to-day. has been cancelled owing to Y.M.C.A. being unable to place a team in the field.
