SANDERS CUP CONTEST.
FIRST RACE TO-MORRQW, SAILING RULES DETERMINED. The rules and conditions governing the inter-provincial contest for the Sander's Cup between 14ft. one-design boats were formulated at the Dominion conference of yachtsmen last evening. The first race will commence at 11.30 o'clock to-morrow morning arid the second at 12.30 p.m. on Saturday. Thereafter two races will be decided daily, starting at 10.30 a.m. and 3 p.m., commencing on Monday. The method of deciding the winner of tho cup is to bo the same as last year. All the competitors will contest the first three races, and the winners will then take part in further races until one boat has three wins to its credit. The courses will be alternately windward and leeward, and triangular throughout the contest, and the five-flag method of starting will bo employed, A protest must be lodged within one hour of the finish of a raco. Each winning boat must come alongside the judge's boat for inspection after a race.
