The, Duke of York has accepted the presidency of the Council of the Empire Exhibition at Wembley in 1925, as the Prince of Wales will be touring in South Africa. » AUSTRALIA AT WEMBLEY. ERRONEOUS IDEAS CORRECTED. A. and N.Z. SYDNEY, Dec. 20. Addressing the National Club, Mr. R. Orchard, one of the Australian commissioners at Wembley, said the Empire Exhibition did much to correct erroneous ideas about Australia held by many people in Britain. Thousands of people were turning their eyes toward Australia and New Zealand as a result of the Exhibition. Ho estimated that 13,000,000 people visited the Australian pavilion.
