WANG A NCI. Thursday. ! Shortly before two o'clock th s mornj the Marton Fire Brigade was called I to" an outbreak in the eabinetmaking j workshop of Messrs. ( obham and Son. in I Broadway. The flames had a strong hold J when the alarm was given, and it was impossible to save the building or any of the contents. The brigade, however, did good work in presenting the lianies spreading to tho block of buildings fronting Broadway. There was no insurance on either the building or machinery, and the loss is estimated at considerably over £ICOO, in addition to which a large stock of seasoned timber was destroyed.
