CHANGES IN THE STAFF.
SEQUEL TO RECENT INQUIRY.

Following on the findings of the Royal Commission which inquired into the conditions at the Kew mental hospital three of the attendants have been dismissed from the Public Service. Three others have been transferred to another mental hospital. Dr. Ellery has been relieved of his duties at the Kew institution and transferred to a junior position at another mental hospital, without a reduction in salary.
