MOTOR GOES OVER A BANK.
MAN CRITICALLY INJURED

I* ranee, posti master at Kketahuna, was very seriously ! injured, and now lies in a critical eondij tion in the Pahicitua Hospital. Ihe car j went over a bank. j The occupants also included Mr 11. Scott. |iost officii chauffeur, Wellington, | and Mr. H. McGill. senior clerk at the I General Post Oflice, Wellington. The I former suffered a flesh wound in the thigh, and Mr. McGill escaped with a few bruises.
ll was a very wet day and at a dangerous bend the steering gear failed to respond. Mr. McGill had been sent oat Indie department to take an independent ballot of the settlers regarding the I'ahi-atiia-Kketahuna rural delivery.
