CHRISTMAS CAROLS.
Sir.—lt was with great surprise that I read "Sandy Claws' " caustic criticism regarding the disturbance caused by carol singers and bands at this festive season of the year. It appears to nie that he is sadly lacking in sentiment in that he suggests such drastic methods for the eradication of such a time-honoured custom.
