WOMEN AS JOCKEYS.
TROTS IN AUSTRALIA. A. and N.Z. SYDNEY, Dec. 17. An innovation at the Menangle Park trotting meeting was a race solely for women riders or drivers. There wore eight starters, seven of tho horses being ridden. Accomplished horsemanship was displayed by the women, but the advisability of holding such events has been discussed by many.
