The Northern Wairoa herd-testing results for the 30 dnys to November 28 show that in number 1 scheme, with 78 herds, the average yield from 1452 cows was 879!b., tho average test 4.12 and tli«> average butter-fat 22.731b. In number 2 scheme, 49 herds, with 2232 cows, gave an average of 7311b. milk per cow, with an average test of 3.95 a'id an average yield of butter-fat of 28.8711).
