BANK CLERK CHARGED.
ALLEGED CHEQUE FORGERY.
AMOUNT OF £450 INVOLVED.
A charge of having forged a, cheque for £450 on tlio Bank of New Zealand at Auckland, was preferred against ; bemk clerk, Harold Keith Jones, aged 23 (Mr. Dickson), in the Police Court, before Mr. J. W. Poynton, S.M., yesterday. Mr. Dickson said that about £200 of the amount involved had not. vnt been recovered. Accused had recently been married.
Accused was remanded until to-day, bail being fixed at £300.
