ADVERTISING DISPUTE.
COURT AWARDS DAMAGES.
Decision was delivered by Mr. E. 0. Cut ten, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court in a case in which M. A. Bull, confectioner (Mr. Sellar), claimed £45 5s 2d from Charles Cln'ystall (Mr. E. P. Hunt), for alleged failure to carry out an agreement for advertising on theatre jiass-out checks. Plaintiff's claim set out that defendant had undertaken that the checks bearing an advertisement should be circulated for two years, from May, 1924. Evidence was given that the agreement had not been carried out. Judgment wa 8 entered !or plaintiff for £20 refund and £15 goner d damages.
