OPENING OF THE INQUEST.
The inquest into the death of George Talcott Ahier, an inmate of tlie Roto
Roa Island Inebriate Home, who was found hanged on Tuesday, was opened yesterday before Air. W. It. AlcKean, S.AI., coroner. Formal evidence ■was taken, and the inquest was adjourned.
