BIBLE TRAINING INSTITUTE.
NEW BUILDING REQUIRED. The widespread interest in the work of the New Zealand Bible Training Institute was shown by the large attendance at the annual gathering in the Tuber nacle. .Mr. R. L. Stewart, chairman of the board of directors, presided. Mr. 11. T. Grave, secretary and treasurer, said :.he development of the work ! had been so -apid that a new building was i urgently required. He was pleased to bn I able to say that land to the valuo of i £2000 had been donated as a site and | there was over £1000 cash in hand, whili* | promises of contributions amounting to | over £4000 were ill sight. As soon as i £3000 or £4000 more had been received ' the work of erecting a new building would be commenced. An £8000 building was needed. I r. Grave acknowledged the r/i• tary support the movement had reei d. I Dplomas were presented by the superj intendent, Mr. C. J. Rolls, to the following graduates:—Misses Isa Galbraith, Bessie I). Cuthbertson, Margaret CuthbcHson, Madeline Forgie, Messrs. Robert S. Hamilton, Wm. Searle, and Johns-Nichol-son. The Rev. Lionel B. Fletcher gave the special address and made a stirring appeal to young men and women for service at home and abroad. The recipients c! diplomas also addressed the gathering, an-l a characteristic address \?as delivered bv Mr. Rolls. The institute annual dinner was held, the principal, the Rev. J. \V. Kemp, presiding over a large gathering of students, tutors, and board members. Addresses were given by the various officers and others connected with the movement.
