FIRE AT LAKE KANIERI.

A hatchery and residence at Lake Kanieri, owned by the Westland Acclimatisation Society, wero completely destroyed by firo at midnight. Tho buildings woro insured for £125 with tho Now Zealand Company. Tho furniture and effects, the pronerty of the caretaker, were iitsured fur £200 in, the Atlas office.
