MAN'S SKULL FRACTURED.
PORK BUTCHER'S DEATH.
PROBABLE FALL FROM CYCLE.

When John McTavish, pork butcher, died on December 3, after being picked up Die previous evening on the roadside,, two doctors were prepared to givo a certificate that death was due to cerebral haemorrhage- The coroner, however, ordered a post-mortcni examination, and at an inquest to-day Dr. Stringer said the examination bad revealed that deceased's skull wa3 fractured. No operation could have saved the man's life.
A verdict was returned that deceased died from fracture of the skull, there being no evidence showing how the accident happened, but the evidence pointed to deceased falling off a bicycle and striking his head violently on the tarred road.
