KAIWARRA AT FIJI. From Newcastle and Sydney, the. Kaiwarra arrived at Lautoka, Fiji, at 8 a.m. on Wednesday. The vessel is to be despatched from Suva to-day for Auckland, where she is due about Thursday. SOUTHERN CROSS DUE ON MONDAY. A message .has been received from Via, New Hebrides, that the Molanesian Mission stoamer Southern Cross will probably arrive at Auckland from her cruise in the South-west Pacific on Tuesday. She is bringing tho folio wing passengers:—Bishop" Steward, Rev. R. Hodgson, Miss Sealcy, and Miss Williams. ARAWA REPORTED. The Union Company's Island steamer Ngakuta is expected at Auckland about Monday with a cargo of fruit frorri the Eastern Pacific. No wireless report had beon received from tho vessel yesterday. MATANGI'S CHRISTMAS RUNNING.. The Matangi will make her usual runs to Tauranga this week, but owing to tho holidays sho will be despatched from Auckland for Tauranga on Sunday. December 21, at 6.30 p.m., and will return on th? following Tuesday morning. She will sai": again the same evening for Tauranga, ami will arrive back from that trip on Christmas morning.

MAHANA LOADING. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company's steamer Mahana arrived from Gisbome yesterday morning and berthed at the Queen's Wharf to complete loading. L. D. Nathan and Company, Limited, the local' agents, announce that the vessel will be despatched for London, via Montevideo and Teneriffo, en Decembor 19.

THE RIMUTAKA The Now Zealand Shipping steamer Rnnutaka left Wellington on Wednesday evening for Lyttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth, to complete discharge of hor cargo from Liverpool. Tbo vessel will afterwards load for Nej-' York, Boston, and West of England ports at New Plymoitli, Wellington. Napier, Gisborno and Auckland. She is to be despatched from this port for New York on January 14.

THE CANADIAN TRAVELLER. The Canadian Government steamer Canadian Traveller sailod from Adelaide yesterday for Napier, where she will comn-.anco loading in New Zealand for New York, Boston, and Montreal. After further loading at other ports the vessel will complete at Auckland, from where she will bo despatched for New York.

THE ULIMAROA. The Huddarii-Parker steamer Uliraaroa sailed from Wellington yesterday for Sydney, where she is due on Tuesday. The vessel is scheduled to leave Sydney on Thursday for Auckland, where eho arrivea at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, December 23. The following day, Christmas Eve, eho will be despatched for Sydney. RARAWA TO RESUME. The Rarawa, which has undergone a thorough overhaul at Auckland, ia to leavo here this morning for Onehunga, where she is duo on Monday morning. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Campbell sailed from Napier at 4 p.m. yesterday for Auckland, where she is due to-morrow morning. The vessel will berth at the Queen's Wharf to complete loading for New York, Boston and London to the agency of Heather, Roborton, .Ltd. who expect to despatch her for New York at daybreak on Wednesday. PERRY STEAMER KAWAU SOLD. The Devonport Company's sfeamer Kawau has been sold to Mr. J. Bradsbaw, of Bluff where she is to be used as an os-ster trawler. The vessel was built at Auckland m 1891 by Mr. W Holmes at Devonport. for Mrs. Buxton, who then owned Kawau Island. The vessel was afterwards engaged on the mail and passenger service between Apia and Pago Pago, and she was also employed on the Heknsvillo River before she was purchased about 12 yearn ago by tho Perry Company The vessel is to leavo Auckland for Bluff to-day, in charge of Cantain L.
