(Received 5.5 p.m.) Rcutcr - BERLIN*. Dec. 10. " The German Cabinet has decided to resign very shortly. It has authorised the Chancellor, Dr. Wilhelm Marx, to arrange the date of the resignation with Herr Ebert;- the President, \lt is authoritatively stated that the Cabinet's decision to resign is due to the fact that the Reichstag elections did not result m it securing the majority necessary to carry ou its policy. It is not yet certain which party will be entrusted with the formation "of a Government. The belief is expressed that the Nationalists will be asked, as they hope to form a National People's Centre Coalition with the benevolent neutrality of the Democrats.
