COMMONWEALTH POPULATION
A. and N.Z. ADELAIDE. Dec. U. Official statistics show that the population of Australia on Sept-ember 30, 1924, was estimated at 5,835,187, an increase for the year of 120,168. Births for tho year exceeded the deaths by 79,02-4. Arrivals exceeded departures, by 41,H4. Sinca the census of April, 3921, the populating has increased by 399,4£3.
