CITY COUNCIL'S FEES.
THE PROPOSED NEW SCALE.
FURTHER INCREASE IN VIEW.
-Alterations to the heavy traffic motor license fees already announced are proposed by the Auckland City Council. The Mayor, Sir James Gunson, gave notice at the meeting of the council last evening that he would move at the'special meeting of the council, to be held on Thursday next, a number of amendments to the scale as previously adopted. It is proposed to increase the fees for all vehicles exceeding 30cwt., unladen, so that the maximum of £75 applies to all over four tons. The scale now proposed compares with that previously adopted as follows: — -. _ Former Present Proposal.
