PRIZE SNAKE'S END.
KILLED BY TOBACCO SMOK&
A big tiger snake at one of the sideshows at a show at Kyneton, Victoria, recently met its end in a unique way. A man was leaning on the barricade around tho snake pit, when his old black briar pipe slipped from his mouth. The tiger snake, the pride of the show, was decidedly partial to the pipe and seemed to enjov basking in the smoke that continued to ooze from it, Later the proprietor of the show found his prize pet dead. The smoker insists that the mixture was quite mild.
